A living archive and robotic sculpture for Asket – a physical manifestation of the knowledge and craft behind the Asket T-Shirt.

The trays contain artefacts from the history and production of the Asket T-shirt: blueprints, documentation, patterns etc.



















Building and programming the sculpture:


The Archive Cabinet was constructed in a basement in Södermalm, Stockholm – from a vintage archive cabinet. It was then transported all the way to Berlin for display at the Asket Pop-up Store at Torstraße in Mitte. It uses Arduino-programmed electric actuators to force the trays outward.
